Refunds & Returns
At Kalaneca we take great care in doing our quality check as all our sarees are 100% handwoven. When you place an order, we start weaving the saree to fulfil it and send the piece of craftsmanship with love. That’s why Returns are accepted only under certain circumstances. Kindly read below and please connect with us in case of any query.
Sarees with order of Fall/Pico/Tassel request can not be cancelled or exchanged.
No REFUND under any circumstances.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Orders placed with us can be cancelled within 24 hours after making the payment. You can cancel the order by sending us an email to sarees@kalaneca.com. Your order cancellation will be confirmed only once you receive an email confirmation from us. We can only cancel the orders that have not been packaged and shipped by us with the full amount being refunded to you within 7 working days from the cancellation confirmation through online bank transfer.
Order in transit cannot be cancelled.
The above is applicable for purchases for gifting purpose as well.
Orders on any form of annual /festive/occasion sale can not be cancelled after 12 hours of placing the order.
Made to order/ customised orders take 2-4 weeks to complete by our skilled artisans. Please note that no exchange or returns will be accepted for these orders
What about Exchange of products?
Products can only be exchanged in cases where the company might send a different colour product by mistake.
We shall ensure genuine quality of the weave and seamless shopping experience for you with our customer care addressing any query.
No exchange shall be entertained for sarees on annual/festive/occasion sale
Can I return the products?
Products can only be returned if there is any manufacturing defect or if a wrong product has been sent by mistake
The following is considered as defects
- Any ink/pen/colour marks on the product
- Threads that have come out thereby creating a visible patch on the product
- If the product is torn
The following is considered as damage
- Parcel arriving with torn marks on the product
- Product completely discoloured
No Return/Refund/Cancellations will be allowed on SALE products ( unless there has been any major defect/damage in the product).
What is the process to return a product for an exchange?
We will initiate a pick-up from the same destination as it was sent to. This is applicable only for domestic returns.
The product needs to be returned in its original state with bill and price tag and duly packaged the way it was sent to you. The product can be exchanged for another product from the store as we will give you a credit coupon to use whenever you make the purchase. The credit coupon is valid for 6 months.
Returns have to be borne by customers abroad.
Note: Products cannot be returned under the following conditions:
- If they have been worn
- If they are not in their original conditions
- Damaged due to wear and tear in the transit or whatsoever reason
For any orders on COD, no refund shall be entertained.
An exchange is further possible for products that might have a defect or have been damaged upon receiving it on COD.

Gift Cards
Can I cancel the gift card?
Gift cards and vouchers purchased online on the site cannot be cancelled.
